Core Values

The Bible is God's Inspired Word

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).

God is One

Our God is one, but manifested in three Persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being coequal (Deut. 6:4;Phil. 2:6).

Man was created by God

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God (Gen. 1:27). Adam's sin separated mankind from God and brought death upon all mankind (Rom. 5:12-14). It is now necessary for mankind to be born again in order to have direct fellowship with God and enter Heaven at death (John 3:3-7 & John 3:16).

Born Again

Being "born again" and "receiving salvation" are terms used to describe the recreation and restoration of the human spirit (2 Cor. 5:17). Confessing Jesus Christ as your lord and accepting by faith his forgiveness for your sins accomplish this experience (Rom. 10:9-10, Eph. 2:8).

Water Baptism

Baptism in water is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4).

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The Baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (Matt. 3:11; John 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38,39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:1-4).

Jesus Redeemed Us from Sin, Sickness and Poverty

By faith we are redeemed from sin, sickness and poverty through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:13, Rom. 8:1, 1 Peter 2:24, 2 Cor. 8:9).

Heaven and Hell

Upon their physical death those who have received Jesus as Lord and Savior go to be with him in heaven. Those who do not accept Jesus are by default under the lordship of Satan and go to the eternal punishment reserved for the Devil and his angels (John 3:16 &18, John 14:3, Heb. 9:27, Matt. 25:41, Rom. 6:16).
